1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Vylo ("the App"), provided by Vylo ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Vylo. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You will comply with these Terms and all applicable laws
• You have not been previously suspended or removed from the App

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of Vylo, you must create an account:

• You may register using your phone number, WeChat, or Apple ID
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Vylo ("User Content"), including:

• Posts, photos, and videos
• Comments and messages
• Fishing logs and location tags

4.2 License to Us

By posting User Content, you grant Vylo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Use, reproduce, modify, and display your User Content
• Distribute your User Content within the App
• Create derivative works for the purpose of operating the App

This license exists only for the purpose of operating and improving Vylo and ends when you delete your content or account.

4.3 Content Standards

You agree that your User Content will not:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Contain hate speech, harassment, or bullying
• Include explicit, violent, or inappropriate content
• Promote illegal activities or dangerous behavior
• Contain spam, advertising, or commercial solicitation
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Include private information of others without consent

5. Community Guidelines

Vylo is a community-focused app. To maintain a positive environment:

• Be Respectful: Treat other users with respect and courtesy
• Be Authentic: Share genuine fishing experiences and advice
• Be Safe: Do not share personal information that could compromise safety
• Be Helpful: Contribute positively to the fishing community
• Report Issues: Report content or users that violate these guidelines

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Collect user information for commercial purposes
• Create multiple accounts to abuse App features
• Engage in any activity that harms or exploits minors

7. AI Fishing Assistant

Our AI fishing assistant feature provides guidance and advice:

• AI responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate
• Advice is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional judgment
• We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content
• You use AI advice at your own risk and discretion

8. Video Chat Feature

When using the video chat feature with AI fishing experts:

• Video calls are for consultation and educational purposes only
• You agree to conduct yourself appropriately during video calls
• We may monitor and record calls to ensure quality and safety
• Inappropriate behavior may result in account suspension

9. Location Services

Vylo uses location data to provide fishing spot recommendations:

• You control location permissions through your device settings
• Location data is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• You are responsible for respecting private property and local regulations
• We are not responsible for the accuracy of fishing spot information

10. Intellectual Property

Vylo and its content (excluding User Content) are protected by intellectual property laws:

• The Vylo name, logo, and design are our trademarks
• You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission
• All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by us

11. Third-Party Services

Vylo integrates with third-party services:

• WeChat and Apple for authentication
• Map services for location features
• AI service providers for chat functionality

These third parties have their own terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party services.

12. Disclaimers

• We do not guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content
• You use the App at your own risk
• We are not responsible for User Content or third-party content
• Fishing involves inherent risks; we are not liable for accidents or injuries

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Vylo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the App (if any)
• We are not liable for loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• We are not liable for damages resulting from use or inability to use the App

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vylo and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your User Content
• Your violation of any rights of another party

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account:

• If you violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
• If your account is inactive for an extended period
• For any reason with or without notice

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App immediately ceases
• We may delete your User Content and account data
• Provisions of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect

16. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time:

• We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you do not agree to changes, you should stop using the App

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.

18. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with Vylo:

• Please contact us first at support@vylo.com to resolve informally
• We aim to resolve disputes amicably and in good faith
• If informal resolution fails, disputes may be subject to arbitration

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Vylo regarding use of the App.
